How the stages differ

  1. Title/abstract screening: uses citation metadata and abstract text to decide whether a record should progress.
  2. Full-text screening: uses the uploaded article or document to make a more detailed eligibility decision.
  3. Downstream handoff: included full-text studies can support extraction, appraisal, document analysis, and report drafting.
