Why am I not seeing any hits?
A search returning zero or very few results are usually caused by overly restrictive search parameters. Here are the most common causes and recommended solutions:
• Overly narrow Boolean logic operators: Review each step for potential syntax errors. Ensure that synonyms are combined using ‘OR’ and that different concepts are linked with ‘AND’.
• Restrictive filters: Remove or relax filters such as language restrictions, publication date ranges, or study design filters to broaden your retrieval.
If the issue persists, export the search strategy, review it manually, and re-upload the revised version using 'Upload Search Strings'.
