Do I need to fill in all the input fields?

No, not all fields are mandatory. Only the Search Title and Population fields are required to generate a search strategy. The remaining fields Intervention, Comparator, Outcomes, Study Design, and Filters are optional.

However, completing additional fields is strongly recommended if you wish to generate a more targeted and specific search. For example:

•       Adding Intervention terms will help focus the search on your treatment or exposure of interest.

•       Adding Outcome terms will retrieve studies reporting specific endpoints.

Applying Filters (e.g., language, publication date, study design) will further narrow results to the most relevant literature.
